WhileBobby Shmurdaand his GS9 associates continue to spend time in jail following their arrest on drug and weapon charges earlier this month, the first contact from inside prison has been established by fellow rapperRowdy Rebel.
The rapper, who like Shmurda is signed to Epic Records, made a call to his girlfriend, and video footage of the phone call (which was on speakerphone) was uploaded to YouTube last week,XXL reports.In it, Rowdy Rebel, real name Chad Marshall, gives some shoutouts rather than speak on the charges against he and others in the GS9 crew; at least, that’s all the video shows of the conversation.
Marshallin particular istied to a shooting in July, followed by performing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., in the same clothes he allegedly wore at the shooting. He’s been charged…
